The photographs were sent to Brigadier Sherwood Lett from England to his Vancouver address in September 1944.

Series covers Lett's service in various military units and, major military operations including the Dieppe Raid in 1942. Inquiry on the Second Narrow Bridge

File contains a Royal Commission certificate, report and a draft of the report relating to Lett's inquiry, as the appointed Royal Commissioner, on the collapse of a portion of the Second Narrow Bridge under construction across Burrard Inlet in 1958.
