File consists of correspondence, articles, newspaper clippings, bills and receipts, lists, eight negatives, eleven prints, cards, programs, sketches and other material relating mainly to the personal and professional activities of Ted Taylor. Includes eight photographs taken during Ted and Ruth Wing's honeymoon at Catalina (CVA 1477-1175 to CVA 1477-1182), and photographs of Ruth (CVA 1477-1183), Ted and Ruth (CVA 1477-1186), Caroline Little Pierce (CVA 1477-1190) and Marion Pierce (CVA 1477-1184). File also contains articles by Ted Taylor and many newspaper clippings relating to his marriage to Ruth and his appointment as treasurer of the "Committee of 14," which was created to fight censorship in the motion picture industry. In addition to professional correspondence, the, file also contains Ted's correspondence with Caroline, Ruth and Annie Louise Taylor.

File consists of correspondence, financial records and receipts, legal documents, notes, seventeen photographs, theatrical scripts, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, cards and ephemera pertaining to the personal and professional activities of Ted Taylor, his family and friends. Ted Taylor's professional correspondence includes letters from various colleagues; individuals such as Thomas H. Ince, Edith M. Ryan concerning actress Louise Fazenda, Phil Rosen, J. Stuart Blackton, Harry A. Fischbeck, Jack Jungmeyer, Sidney Olcott, Tom Gallery and Hugh Blair (with attached photograph CVA 1477-1212); and production companies The UFA Films, Inc., Jackie Coogan Productions Inc. and Warner Bros. Pictures Inc. The file also contains a letter to Ted Taylor from Leo A. Moran accompanied by thirteen photographs of child star Priscilla Moran (CVA 1477-1199 to CVA 1447-1211).
Also included in the file are newspaper clippings and notes pertaining to an investigation into a complaint filed by Mary Beaton and Ted Taylor against the Screen Artists' Production Association, a legal writ of attachment from Leo H. Zide to Mary Beaton, et al., a list of officers and committees for the Seven Arts Playhouse, and scripts for plays likely written by Ted for the playhouse.
Other correspondence in the file includes correspondence from Octavia Beaton to Mary Beaton and Ted's correspondence with Mary, Annie Louise Taylor, Kate Cooley Taylor and L.D. Taylor. Correspondence between Ted and L.D. discusses Ted and Ken's careers and L.D.'s activities for the previous twelve years, including his ownership and loss of "The World," his attempts to become Mayor of Vancouver in 1922 and 1923, his year living in Prince George and his return to Vancouver and establishment of "The Critic" and the "Vancouver Oil and Mining Journal." Also included is a list of preferred and unfavorable individuals and studios from the New York Morning Telegraph. The file also contains correspondence from the Seven Arts Playhouse regarding Ted's play "Grand Guignol" and his chairmanship of the Playhouse's Dramatic Writing Group, a newspaper clipping concerning his play "The Butcher's," and a program for the Playhouses' successor, The Garret Club.
Also included in the file is Ted's correspondence with Ken Taylor, Annie Louise Taylor, Caroline Little Pierce and L.D. Taylor. Letters from L.D. discuss his acitivities as Mayor of Vancouver and the visit of the Imperial Japanese Navy. These include photographs of sets, actors, and directors, including photographs of Ted, Emmy Wehlen, Herbert Blache, Henry Otto, John H. File consists of correspondence, notes, financial records, four photographs, lists, address book pages, newspaper clippings, articles, a script and other material relating mainly to the personal and professional activities of Ted Taylor. Personal correspondents of Ted include Ruth Wing, Annie Louise Taylor and various friends. Professional correspondence relates to his positions in the Publicity Department of Goldwyn picturess and as Motion Picture Editor at the L.A. Record, and includes correspondence with colleagues at various Hollywood studios and publications. Includes letters from Ferdinand Earle pertaining to his intention to produce a screen version of "Faust" and Mary Pickford's intention to do the same, as well as letters concerning his dealings with David O. Selznick. The file also contains records relating to Ted's dismissal as the editor of "CAMERA!"; clippings of articles by or pertaining to Ted Taylor; and clippings, correspondence and other material relating to Ted's assignment by Goldwyn to be on location for Eric von Stroheim's production of "McTeague." Includes correspondence between Ted Taylor and Octavia Beaton, L.D. Taylor, Ken Taylor, Annie Louise Taylor, Ruth Wing, Ralph Beaton and various friends. Correspondence related to L.D. Taylor Includes a letter from L.D. to Ted discussing the Lennie Commission, a letter from L.D. to Octavia describing his propeller injury, and a letter from Ted to Ralph discussing L.D.'s loss in the civic election. The file also contains several newspaper clippings pertaining to L.D. and to Ted's visit to Vancouver. Also included in the file are notes and an account of Ted's voyage from France to the U.S. aboard a cargo vessel, his stay in New York and Ohio, and travel to Vancouver.
