Film consists of raw footage taken at Expo86 and includes scenes of the Minolta Space Drop ride, food carts, crowds, the gondolas and the view from the gondola ride, people walking on the seawall, RCMP officers, the RCMP musical ride (outdoor venue, crowds seated on grass), the floating McDonalds (and the McDonalds Tidy Tug picking up floating garbage), a beer garden, music, pavilion signs, Expo 86 grounds and the outside of several national and provincial pavilions. Item is raw footage shot for a one hour television network documentary featuring Canada's military parachute team, the Sky hawks. Primarily the aerial footage (shot by a fellow sky-diver) captures the sky diving and parachuting performances of the Sky hawks. Some of the aerial footage was shot at Royal Rhodes Military College. Other locations have not been identifed. Additional footage is included that was shot on the ground of a Sky hawks team breifing with Pierre (shot from several angles), and the men getting dressed for a show and checking each others' parachutes and equipment, airplanes taxing, the Sky hawks team practicing thier show on the ground 'dirt dive,' the men chatting near the airplane, and the Sky hawks team entering the airplane. Includes footage of the Sky Hawks demonstration team, shot from the ground, of the Sky hawks performing sky diving and parachuting tricks, and landing, as well as airplanes flying, and the smoke and flag marking the drop zone. Includes footage shot by a fellow sky diver of men in green camouflage military uniforms parachuting. There are also shots taken using a fish-eye lense of men doing practice parachute jumps from a tower using wires. The fish-eye lense is also used in some sky diving and parachuting shots - the camera is attached to the mid-section of a Sky hawk member rather than to a helmet. Includes some footage of the Sky hawks performing taken by another sky diver, not using a fish-eye lense. Transfered from original camera source tapes 9 and 10A. Silent.

Short films are spliced together on this reel. 00:02 - 01:34 shows a forest fire raging and being battled on the ground and from the air. Includes footage of a sawmill. 01:35 - 03:26 depicts workers, with signs, in front of Vancouver City Hall, on strike. Most of the signs read: Negotiate Now: End Civil Strike. 03:27 - 04:22 consists of animated advertisements for Woodward's department store.

Film consist of raw footage of the riot in Gastown. Includes scenes of police on foot and on horseback, people being taken into custody, under cover police assisting in putting people into the police vans, and skirmishes between protestors and police. Police brutality. Quite violent.

Lost Mine - tape 18

Item is camera original raw footage for "Curse of the Lost Gold Mine." Includes an interview with John F. H. Thompson, a geologist at UBC, who talks about the geology of Pitt Lake, shots of a map of Pitt Lake and Michael Collier plotting out a route on the map, also includes an interview with Mike Boileau, who has been looking into finding gold in the Pitt Lake area since 1979, he talks about the curse, the stories of Pitt Lake, and his own experiences at Pitt Lake.

Item is camera original raw footage for "Curse of the Lost Gold Mine." Footage includes an interview with Jack [Mould] who is standing beside the tent-shaped rock that he and his partners removed from the Pitt Lake area. In addition there are shots of Michael Collier listening to Jack and the tent-shaped rock on its own. Don Waite, Kathie Hamilton, Dick Hamilton and Michael walking along the Pitt Lake lakeshore, and Don shares stories about Slumach and the lost mine legend.
