This portion of the tape contains home movie footage by Malcolm Crane and Stanley Weese. The footage shows Crane and Weese talking to each other at False Creek, a backyard and in Beacon Hill Park at the Gay and Lesbian Pride Picnic with Karen Bitz. They take turns filming. Crane's mother and brother Alan Crane are interviewed in a back yard. There is footage from a trip to Salt Spring Island including Ganges Public Harbour, Brian Forester's workshop and home, the Salt Spring coastline and BC Ferries. The 1991 and 1992 Pride Parades are shown and the footage includes speeches given both years at Sunset Beach by Malcolm Crane.

Item is "Marketplace Program" produced for EXPO 86 and Tourism BC. Major exhibition in BC Pavilion for EXPO 86. Multi-screen laser disc interactive display. Laser discs were very new at this time and cost over $2500 each to manufacture. This laser disc was produced to be used with specially designed players that would allow for touch-screen interaction from visitors to the B.C. Pavilion. These machines no longer exist; to get an idea of what options were made available pause the playback to view what the touch-screen displays looked like.

The16mm release print that the digital child was made from, was struck from the internegative/original negatives, and the optical sound track; it is closest thing to an original in the donation for this production. It is the only record of this movie on film with a soundtrack.

The film captures a car approaching Government House; Margaret by the water; intertitles reading "We leave their majesties steaming Eastward, back to their family at the Heart of the Empire - while Canadians from the Atlantic to Pacific unite in loyalty and affection for our Sailor King and his gracious consort," and "The Straits of Juan de Fuca : In the foreground Canada - in the background the towering Olympic Range in the United States - two great nations living together in peace and Amity;" a large pole being painted by a man elevated by a pulley; the fountains and structures of the British Columbia Parliament Buildings illuminated for the royal visit; the parade, a marching band, and Mounties; a golf game; flowers; and youths riding horses. The end of the film captures soldiers marching.

Item is promotional material for the television series "Weird Wheels" (2000). This was produced by Yaletown Entertainment as a promotional material for Life Network. The series was produced and 39 episodes completed and aired across North America. Video starts and ends with Weird Wheels animation. The cars featured include a wrought iron bug, a mobile phone (a mash up between a Chevy truck and phone booth), a hurse covered in buttons, a car for god when he comes to earth, a guitar motorcycle, and a shoe bicycle. The promotional short also visits an art car parade in San Francisco, CA.
