Assessment rolls for New Westminster and Vancouver assessment districts

Collection consists of copies of microfilmed assessment records of provincially administered lands: those that were not part of an incorporated municipality.

Records document assessments from the New Westminster Land District (which between 1880 and 1896 included lands which currently make up the City of Vancouver) 1880-1898; the collection includes volumes 1-58 of those assessments. The province created a separate Vancouver Assessment District in 1896; the collection includes volumes 1-23 of those assessments.
