[House fire at 336 West 5th Avenue]

Inscription on accompanying note reads: "One house was destoyed and another almost destroyed in a 2-alarm fire about 10:15 tonight at 366 W. 5th, Van. An apartment block at the rear of 366 W. 5th was evacuated when fire threatened the block. About 10 persons were taken from the block."
