Bowser family photograph album

Item is a leather bound and painted photo album containing 51 portraits in carte de visite and cabinet card format, with occasional light hand colouring. The people depicted in the album are unidentified with the exception of one photograph of W.J. Bowser, LL.B. Most of the portraits are of adults, with only a few of babies. The photographs are from several different countries as photographer's markings from Saint John (N.B.), Moncton (N.B.), Vancouver (B.C.), Boston (Mass.), and Liverpool (England) are visible on some of the cards.

Composite photograph of 35 classmates

Item is a photograph of a portrait composite created by Wm. Notman & Sons, with a background engraving by Eugene L'Africain. Cut-out, full body portraits of young men in scholar's robes were combined with the engraved background to create the original composite photograph: this is a photographic copy. The only identified individual is W.J. Bowser LL.B, (bearded man, seated third to the right of stairs).
