[Abraham W. Watson album]

File is album of photographs of unidentified adults and children (family and friends of Abraham Watson?) and early scenes of Vancouver (including houses in the West End, the 1600 Block Robson Street, English Bay pier, Stanley Park and a dentist at work), Victoria, Banff and other locations. Nearly all of the photographs are unidentified.

Old Vancouver Slides - 1 & 2

File consists of slides of images of Vancouver through the years, presumably collected and arranged (possibly by the Vancouver Public Library) for a Vancouver Centennial Commission presentation. The slides suggest that the presentation was given by Robert D'altroy. Slides were originally arranged in two carousels. Included with the slides is a notebook listing captions, subject matter and date of the image for each slide. A few of the slides date from the 1950s and 1960s; however, it appears that the majority of the slides were created at the time of the presentation, and many are likely copies of images held by the City of Vancouver Archives and/or the Vancouver Public Library. Slides 50, 56 and 78 from Carousel 1 are missing.

Picturesque Vancouver, British Columbia

File is a souvenir photograph album showing images of C.P.R. railway lines and terminus building, First Nations people and totem poles, Stanley Park, views of the city and landscape including Mount Baker, Capilano River, Hastings Mill, Hastings Street, Granville Street, buildings including schools, Vancouver Club, "topical residences" of downtown homes, and churches, as well as images of the S.S. Princess Victoria and the S.S. Empress of India.

Strathcona Porch Project photographs

File consists of photographs showing residences belonging to the Strathcona Porch Project, porches under construction, views of the neighbourhood and plan drawings of porches. Photographs were taken by Bill Jeffries, except for a few marked as taken by Judy Oberlander, and this set was later used by Jeffries for giving various lectures on the Strathcona Porch Project.
