The collection consists of a large scrapbook of newspaper clippings relating primarily to the Vancouver Opera House. The clippings are advertisements for shows and theatre sections from various Vancouver papers describing the events held in the Opera House.
The collection consists of a photocopy of "Canadian Memorial Church: An Historical Investigation", a paper by Warren Sommer for Fine Arts 365 in 1972. [Page 8 is missing.] The Canadian Memorial Church, designed by the firm of Twizell and Twizell, was built in 1927-1928 at 1811 West 16th Avenue in memory of those who died in World War I.

Letter from J.S. Matthews to Mary Hankey
Item is a letter thanking Ms. Hankey for a donation to the Archives of records pertaining to the Empress of India. The letter contains Matthew's reminiscences about passenger vessels in British Columbia. Accompanying the letter is a photograph of the Empress of India (a reprint of Bo P8 N20).
