The fonds consists of biographical material and notes prepared for the publication "Children's Aid Society of Vancouver, B.C."; files relating to Laura Holland and the Children's Aid Society, the Social Planning Committee of the Community Chest and Council of Greater Vancouver, 1950-1954, and the Canadian Welfare Council, 1950-1954; articles by Henry Forbes Angus; and a photocopy of his "My First Seventy-Five Years".

File contains largely handwritten or typescript copies of annual reports, correspondence and various reports on the society's programs, including a 1948 report regarding a group of refugee Jewish children from Europe.

Correspondence

File contains correspondence relating to the visit of Their Excellencies Roland and Norah Michener, to the Angus home on December 1968. Roland Michener was Governor General of Canada at the time.
