#1 - Lost Mine ; The Curse of the Lost [Gold] Mine ; Donnelly Rhode[s]

Item is camera original raw footage for "Curse of the Lost Gold Mine." Includes several takes of Donnelly Rhodes as the Storyteller, in a log cabin setting, smoking a pipe and doing the background and set-up scene for the docudrama. There are also several takes of further script about the mine and Slumach, and other parts of the legend. These scenes are also set in the log cabin by the fireplace. Aerospace Industry in BC [British Columbia]

Item is a short video highlighting business opportunities in British Columbia. It was created from the "Economic Development" (1992) 16mm, colour, raw footage (90 minutes); footage of the electronic and aerospace industry around Vancouver. From this and other footage from Yaletown Productions, two programs were edited for the Province of British Columbia, Ministry of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade. This short focuses on the aerospace industry in BC. Narration of this film compares the Snowbirds, Canada's military airshow team and goes on to explain the advantages of living and working in BC.

Video was collected by Yaletown Productions and consulted while producing the one hour television network documentary featuring Canada's military parachute team, the Sky hawks, titled "Flight of the Sky hawks."

This film, along with "The Vancouver Stock Exchange," was produced by Yaletown Productions for the Vancouver Stock Exchange. This film explains how the stock exchange works, gives an overview of the history of the Vancouver Stock Exchange, and follows the Very Hopeful Mining Company. The Very Hopeful Mining Company raises capitol through the Vancouver Stock Exchange and eventually becomes a successful company. Includes black and white archival footage of early Vancouver.

Baden Baden [Germany - raw footage]

Item is raw camera footage shot for "Return of the Cold Warriors" a half hour television documentary about the history and closing of the last Canadian Military base in Germany. Footage shows jets landing, flying, taxiing and taking off. Footage includes shots of other buildings and air hangars. Also buildings and traffic at night, Footage was transferred from film to video before transfer to the archives; sprocket holes can be seen at times. At times there is a ring of shadow around the outer rim of the frame.
