Customs form and photograph

File contains a customs certificate which certifies that a Chinese immigrant entering Vancouver in 1892 has paid the head tax. File also contains an 1890 photographic copy (CVA 153-2) of the old Vancouver Immigration Building known as detention shed at that time. File also contains a news clipping and a postcard.

Invoices : 1885-1886

File contains invoices issued by various businesses located in Granville and Westminster, BC.

CPR letters and telegrams : 1875, 1880-1904

File contains letters and telegrams from H.A. Abbott, general superintendent in Vancouver, to Van Horne, vice president of the CPR relating to construction works in British Columbia, congratulations for the arrival of the first through train at Port Moody in 1886, and the hospital site for Vancouver.
