Caption on back of postcard: "North Vancouver, first named Moodyville, was the first settlement on Burrard Inlet, established in 1962 [1862]. Ferry service began in 1868 and the 'St. George', built in 1905, transported the first vehicles across the inlet to the waiting street cars at Lonsdale Avenue."
