Item is a postcard printed with an image of the Inner Harbour in Victoria. A caption on the recto, below the title, reads, "Showing post office, new million dollar hotel - 'The Empress' - and parliament buildings." This postcard includes personal correspondence. Sent to Mrs. G.F. Hartley of Leytonstone, London, England.

Item is a postcard printed with two images. One image shows the boiler of S.S. Beaver at an outdoor display; the caption below this image reads, "Was wrecked July, 1888, at entrance to Burrard Inlet, B.C. Purchased and raised by C.C. Pilkey, Sept. 1906." The other image shows the S.S. Beaver at anchor in James Bay; the caption below this image reads, "S.S. Beaver at anchor in James Bay, Victoria[.] Photograph taken during her early days. Wrecked July [1888] at entrance to Burrard Inlet[.]" A hand-written note on the verso of this postcard reads, "Van B.C. March 1913[.] This [P.C.?] is also copyrighted in U.S.A. + Canada. [C.C.P.?]"
