Item is "Vancouver - Spectacular By Nature;" the last in the series of video post cards; released in 1994. The film features footage of Vancouver and the surrounding area highlighting the activities and attractions available to visitors. The final five minutes of the film features a couple of minutes of archival footage of Vancouver as a way to celebrate and acknowledge its 100 year history. Vancouver Block clock tower and Birks sign

Item is a photograph of the upper floors and clock tower of Vancouver Block (736 Granville Street) taken from Howe Street over the top of the lower portion of the of the Toronto Dominion Bank tower (700 W. Georgia Street). The photograph details the clock face with neon tubing visible (though turned off), as well as the detailed cornices and caryatids that decorate the upper floor and tower. Atop the tower is a large rotating sign for Birks.
