Elsa Maxwell #1

File consists of a scrapbook containing materials related to the arrival of Elsa Maxwell in Vancouver and the Spitfire Fund party at the Hotel Vancouver. Materials include photographs, notes, contracts, correspondence, newspaper clippings, telegraphs, to-do lists, and schedules. Many of the photographs were taken by Alfred Knight. Individuals in the photographs include Elsa Maxwell, Hugh Pickett and Len Turnbull.

File consists of a scrapbook compiled by Hugh Pickett containing photographs, clippings, receipts, correspondence, a napkin, a broken key, notes and ticket stubs. Materials relate to trips to Harrison Hot Springs, Grouse Mountain, Chilliwack and Seattle; Spitfire Fund events; concerts, sporting events and parties attended by Pickett. Photographs show Hugh Pickett, Len Turnbull, Kaye Connor, Marguerite De Guesseme and many other unidentified individuals.
