Biographical history
Gordon Inglis is a producer of television and multimedia products, focusing on sustainability and urban issues. In the 1990s, in conjunction with bicycle shop owner Alan Shiveral and television producer and writer Jayne Akizuki, he produced a number of programs relating to cycling in Vancouver. He was one of the co-founders of Around the Bend Productions Ltd., which produced the television program "Cycle" for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. On various productions he is credited for a number of roles, including producer, director, and writer.
Inglis holds a masters degree in Political Science and a graduate diploma in Urban Studies from Simon Fraser University. He is responsible for the creation of the television series GVTV and The Sustainable Region.

Biographical history
In 1991, Alan Shiveral was the owner of a bicycle shop near Oppenheimer Park (Vancouver, B.C.). He was interested in creating a television program about cycling, as he believed cycling to have a positive transformational effect on peoples’ lives. He approached Ron Carver of the community station Vancouver East NTV, who in turn connected him with Vancouver television producer and writer Gordon Inglis. Together, Alan Shiveral and Gordon Inglis created “Free Wheelin’ with Alan Shiveral” as business partners (under no formal legal name). The arrangement of this business partnership continued 1991 to 1993, while the program aired on Vancouver East NTV.
In 1993, Shiveral and Inglis formalised their business partnership with the creation of Around the Bend Productions Ltd., with television producer and writer Jayne Akizuki.

Item is an edited recording of a CBC television talk show pilot which features discussions with influential British Columbians, hosted by Charmaine Crooks. The first guest, community activist Jim Green on activism and community development; evictions caused by Expo '86 and his efforts to prevent them; his personal life and his accomplishments and vision. The second guest, artist George Littlechild, speaks about the artist's role in society; his past in foster homes and racism he experienced; his search for his own cultural identity; his Scottish and Plains Cree background; his art and inspirations; his spirituality; and his role models.
