Established in 1859, Holy Trinity Church was constituted the Cathedral of the Diocese of New Westminster in 1893. With the Bishop's moving to Vancouver and the designation of Christ Church as the Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church retained as courtesy the designation of cathedral.
