A graduate of the University of British Columbia (B.A. 1916), Radcliffe and Columbia, Dr. Gladys Schwesinger was chiefly known for her writing and work in the area of clinical psychology.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of an unfinished typescript of an autobiography entitled "Beginnings of Wisdom," typescript essays on her early life in Mount Pleasant, and miscellaneous certificates and pamphlets. The Mount Pleasant essays have been published in a pamphlet entitled "Recollections of Early Vancouver in my Childhood, 1893-1912."
