Pamphlet contains a dinner menu and wine list from 1888. One of the copies has been signed on the front cover by 6 people: J. Lyle Telford (mayor), G. Lyall Fraser (president, Vancouver Board of Trade), Sidney A. Smith (barrister and guest speaker), the Most Rev. A.U. Depencier (Archbishop of New Westminster), C.A Cotterell (Assistant General Manager, Canadian Pacific Railway), and Mylett (manager of both the old and the new Hotel Vancouver). Additional material consists of one leaf advertsing an annual general meeting of the United Services Institute of Vancouver at the Seaforth Armoury.
