The first album contains 113 photographs of interior and exterior views of condemned buildings, smallpox patients, and views of areas in Vancouver with sewerage drainage problems; and newspaper articles related to sanitation and public health issues. The second album contains 49 photographs of interior and exterior views of condemned buildings, and views of water impounded due to blockages in sewers drainage system.
