History
Doreen Margaret (Peggy) Imredy, the wife of sculptor Elek Imredy, was the author of A Guide to Sculpture in Vancouver (1980). Ms. Imredy was a long-time champion of Charles Marega and his works, and was the author of an article on Marega for the Greater Vancouver Book (1996). Ms. Imredy acquired a large number of Marega's sculptures over the course of her research, subsequently donating them to the Vancouver Museum.
