"We take great pleasure in presenting you with our first General Hardware Catalogue, and we sincerely hope that it will meet with your approbation and win your favor to such a degree that you will make it your hardware reference book. . . . "
Catalogue is divided into the following sections:
"mechanics' tools; lumbering and logging tools; farm and garden tools; miscellaneous and heavy hardware; ship chandlery, logging blocks, wire ropes etc.; steamfitters' supplies, belting, packing, etc.; paints, oils, glass varnish, etc.; house furnishings, granite ware, tin ware, stoves, etc.; cutlery and silver plated ware; builders' and shelf hardware; guns, rifles, ammunition and general sporting goods."
Also includes railway and mining supplies, as well as sample paint colours.
