Incorporated in 1984, Commonwealth Historic Management Ltd. is a consulting and management firm operating a range of professional services related to the research, design, planning and interpretation of historical and cultural resources. Under the direction of Harold D. Kalman and John J. Stewart, the firm conducts a national practice from regional offices in B.C. and Ontario. Harold Kalman served as Project Director for an extensive survey of Vancouver historic sites titled: "Vancouver Heritage Resource Inventory: Phase 1. Technical Report", published in 1985 by CHRM and the Eikos Group Inc.
