Name of creator
The Common Good Co-operative Association evolved in 1932 after a pattern of self-help set by the Llano Cooperative Colony, Louisiana. Its constitution was signed in January, 1932, and it was granted a charter by the provincial legislature the following month. It survived until 1940. Its members, The Army of the Common Good, were engaged in wood cutting, delivery, farming, and storekeeping.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of a minute book, organizational correspondence and financial records, reports, printed works, clippings, and a memoir written by Alfred Bingham.

Presented in 1945 by Mr. Alfred Bingham of Vancouver, a director of the Association.
