Administrative history

The Common Good Co-operative Association evolved in 1932 after a pattern of self-help set by the Llano Cooperative Colony, Louisiana. Its constitution was signed in January, 1932, and it was granted a charter by the provincial legislature the following month. It survived until 1940. Its members, The Army of the Common Good, were engaged in wood cutting, delivery, farming, and storekeeping.
