C.B. Boardman was a member of the Vancouver Vagabonds Club which flourished in Vancouver from 1915 until 1927. He owned and managed Western Advertising Service Ltd., an advertising agency in Vancouver.

The fonds consists of the unpublished poems of H. Bromley Coleman, a member of the Vagabonds Club around 1920; radio script by C.B. Boardman, 1922; miscellaneous papers including the newspaper The Hook, 1923-1924; publications; Prospectus of the Alexandrian Charter School, ca.1930; and The Square, 1922-1924.
