Administrative history
The Vancouver and District Dental Wives' Association was founded in 1928 to promote public awareness of the value of dental services and organize social events. In 1959, the group became known as the Vancouver Dentists' Wives' Association. In 1961, the organization affiliated itself with the British Columbia Dental Association as a Vancouver Branch Ladies' Auxiliary and became known as the British Columbia Dentists' Wives' Association, Vancouver Branch.

The fonds consists of constitution and by-laws, minutes (1951-1968), agendas, executive and committee reports, membership and officers' lists, copies of the group's publication, "The Amalgamator" and two scrapbooks detailing the history of the Association, with clippings, certificates, photographs, invitations and newsletters.
