History
Born Lloyd George Kempton Allen, George Allen was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II working in the Western Air Command's photographic division. Following the war, Allen started the George Allen Aerial Photos Ltd. company producing commercial aerial and ground photography in Vancouver. His son, Kenne (Kenneth) Allen took over the business in the 1970s.
