Item is a photograph of the cast of the 1938 Vancouver Masquers presentation of "Stage Door" taken on set. The production was directed by Yvonne Firkins and played November 7, 8 and 9. Spencer family and 29th Vancouver Battalion regimental band and performers album

Item is an album showing images of family portraits and various family outings as well as images related to 29th Vancouver Battalion performers, such as Edmund A. Burke and other men in uniform as well as scenes of theatre performance with men in costume, the military theatre troupe the "See Toos" of the 2nd Canadian Division. Included in the album is a news clipping of the marriage of Pte. [Private] Joseph Sydney Spencer, member of the 29th Vancouver Battalion, and theatre and concert bills of performances in France including the Bonner Stadt Theatre. An inscription on the album cover states, "[?] With love to [Flo?] from Syd, Aug 26 1919". Some names and places are identified by inscription in the album.

Caption attached to photograph reads: "Two weeks ago members of Vancouver's championships amateur hockey league watched Frank Lloyd filming scenes for his production of Rex Beach's "Winds of Chance" at Seymour Gorge, North Vancouver. Several days ago they had opportunity to see the celebrities of the Lloyd troupe make the finishing scenes of the same play in Hollywood and elected Miss Viola Dana official mascot for the team during the series of games being played with the Monarch sextet of Los Angeles. Those in the photograph made expressly for The Province are, actors and players, Charles B. Crockett, Choppy Anderson (whose hip bone was broken the same evening), John T. Murray, Viola Dana, R. Palmer, R. Parker. Back row: C.E. Chapman, Fred Kohler, Victor McLaglen, E. Pritchard and E.R. Foster. Members of the Lloyd company have been most ardent supporters for the British Columbians during the Los Angeles games.

Caption attached to photograph reads: "Former Yale grid star wed to Viola Dana of screen fame. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice B. "Lefty" Flynn from a photo made after their recent quiet wedding at Los Angeles, Calif. "Lefty" Flynn was a former grid star of Yale and now is an independent screen star. Mrs. Flynn is the former Viola Dana, screen star."
