Caption attached to photograph reads: "Two weeks ago members of Vancouver's championships amateur hockey league watched Frank Lloyd filming scenes for his production of Rex Beach's "Winds of Chance" at Seymour Gorge, North Vancouver. Several days ago they had opportunity to see the celebrities of the Lloyd troupe make the finishing scenes of the same play in Hollywood and elected Miss Viola Dana official mascot for the team during the series of games being played with the Monarch sextet of Los Angeles. Those in the photograph made expressly for The Province are, actors and players, Charles B. Crockett, Choppy Anderson (whose hip bone was broken the same evening), John T. Murray, Viola Dana, R. Palmer, R. Parker. Back row: C.E. Chapman, Fred Kohler, Victor McLaglen, E. Pritchard and E.R. Foster. Members of the Lloyd company have been most ardent supporters for the British Columbians during the Los Angeles games.
