Series consists of oblique aerial photographs which were the first aerial photographs taken in B.C. by Stuart Thomson in a Curtis J.N. 4 airplane piloted by Captain Ernie Hoy. The areas depicted include Hastings Park, Kitsilano, False Creek, Downtown, Coal Harbour, Stanley Park, the Second Narrows and Hastings, bridges over the Fraser River, North Vancouver waterfront including Lyall Shipyards, Capilano Creek and Canyon and Minoru Racetrack.
Photographs in this series have been assigned catalogue numbers in the range CVA 1123-1 to CVA 1123-15

Oblique view showing a view looking southeast along Renfrew Street towards Hastings Street, parts of Wall Street, Trinity Street and McGill Street, the northern section of Hastings Park, the roller coaster, the Manufacturing/Industrial Building and the Exhibition Building on the Exhibition Grounds. The photograph also shows a house at 2950 Trinity Street.
