Subseries contains analyses of the government resources necessary to secure and to host the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Environment and Sustainability

Subseries contains records relating to the development of a plan to manage the environmental impacts associated with hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Records also include BidCorp's corollary effort to promote social, economic, and environmental sustainability within the broader geographic region.

Records include correspondence, memorandums, reports, press releases, work plans, presentations, RFPs, and promotional materials.

Finance and Procurement

Series contains records of the Finance and Procurement administrative unit. This unit was responsible for the provision of financial information required by BidCorp's management and Board of Directors to achieve the organization's overall objectives. The unit established and maintained the necessary process and resources to ensure accurate reporting of projected costs and exposures against baseline budgets, scopes of work, and programs. The unit also established the required policies and procedures to negotiate, procure, expedite, track, and administer BidCorp's needed goods and services

Series is further divided into five subseries: Accounts Payable, Agreements/Contracts/Purchase Orders, Audit and Tax Advice, Project Controls, and Trademark and Logo Protection.

Fundraising Sales and Services

Series contains files of the Fundraising Sales and Services administrative unit. It was responsible for raising funds and in-kind support from the private sector to assit in meeting the core financial and operating requirements of BidCorp. It developed fundraising plans and coordinated BidCorp's fundraising efforts with the COA/COC in order to ensure that its fundraising agreements were consistent with its contractual agreements. It also created a merchandise and outreach program to increase awareness and promote the organization's efforts, as well as to generate additional revenue.
