History

The Manitoba Sugar Company [M.S.C.] was located at Fort Garry, MB [1939-1997]. BC Sugar Refinery Co. Ltd. purchased it in 1955. The name Manitoba Sugar Company was maintained by BC Sugar until 1995 when the Rogers brand was used across all of BC Sugar’s Canadian locations. The Fort Garry refinery operations were wound up in 1997 and the Manitoba Sugar Company was wound up.
