The collection consists of programs and other information about concerts presented by C.B.C. Vancouver in cooperation with various musical groups and artists, including the C.B.C. Vancouver Orchestra, the Vancouver Society for Early Music, Vancouver Chamber Choir and others.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has been a broadcaster and promoter of music for many years. C.B.C. Vancouver Orchestra was formed in 1938. Its directors have included Ira Dilworth, the founder, John Eliot Gardiner, Mario Bernardi and John Avison, conductor.
