Scope and content
Item is an audio cassette containing a recording of the CBC program "Between Ourselves," written by Ben Metcalfe and produced by Bill Terry. The program gives an account of the initiative to sail to Amchitka Island in the Aleutian Islands in an attempt to stop United States nuclear testing on the island. The program combines accounts from those aboard "The Greenpeace," narration of the events on that day, and sound effects to simulate moments on the boat.
