History
Horace Newton Clarke (1881-1963) owned and operated Dominion Blue Print and Drafting Co. from 1912 until his retirement in 1947. At that time, he transferred ownership to Martin Joseph Griffin (1908-1986) who operated it until its' closure in 1981.
The company had many different names over the years: Dominion Blue Print and Drafting Co. from 1912 to 1916 ; Dominion Blueprint Co. from 1917 to 1921 ; Dominion Map and Blueprint Co. from 1922 to 1952 ; Dominion Map and Blueprint Ltd. from 1953 to 1962 ; and by 1963 the company shortened its' name to Dominion Map Ltd.
