Items in this collection have arrived at the Archives by a number of means. In most cases, they were not part of regulalry scheduled transfers, and do not form part of organized record series.
Scope and content
Collection consists of published items issued by the City of Vancouver, including items issued by its other agencies and predecessors - i.e., the Municipality of Point Grey, the Municipality of South Vancouver, the Park Board, the Vancouver Police Department, the Vancovuer Public Library, and the Vancouver School Board. The collection also includes items published by external bodies where the City contributed content, or the publication was commissioned by the City.

Publications in this collection acquired before 2011 are issued item numbers begining with "PD' or "PDS". In some cases, serial publications issued by the same creator on a regular periodic basis (e.g., annual reports) have been grouped together in a single description, or a small number of related descriptions.
