Item component is side 1 of an interview of May Brown. Interview covers many topics including: the fact that May was a Dunbar resident since 1949, the Neighbourhood, the fact that both May and her husband Lorne were physical education specialists, Camp Deka, Election to Parks Board, Election to City Council and TEAM, the new civic reform party. Lorne and May's service on many community boards and committees was also covered and the recently dedicated May and Lorne Brown Park. Interview conducted by Pam Chambers. Recording ends mid-conversation.
