The British Columbia Jockey Club was organized to oversee races held at Hastings Park racetrack.
The club was formed in 1890, and was also responsible for producing programmes for races and for general maintenance of the racetrack.

The fonds consists of the 1892-1893 minute book of the British Columbia Jockey Club. The volume contains minutes of meetings, lists of members, lists of executive members, notices, and other information.
